She has worked in sustainability, sustainable community development, environmental communications & environmental journalism throughout her career. Christi spent seven years in Madagascar helping communities create appropriate solutions to the sustainability challenges they faced. She came to Colorado to take a step back from development and instead pursue a masters in environmental journalism, and spent the next several years here photographing, filming, writing about and otherwise sharing the environmental, sustainability & climate issues facing the state and region. As an entrepreneur and CEO of Scraps - a small, local, environmentally & socially responsible company - Christi leans on both of these facets of her background. She loves talking trash.
