(3) SEP 20 - 5:30 PM-9 PM - Arvada Jefferson Kiwanis’ Join, Connect & Thrive at Apex Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd; Arvada Sunrise Rotary will be a sponsor.

(5) OCT 19 - Rotary District 5450 15th Annual WASH Symposium - Speaker: William Kamkwamba -  Inspired by a science book, 13-year-old William Kamkwamba builds a wind turbine to save his Malawian village from famine. Based on a true story.

(6) Looking for Denim - 100% Cotton - any color for Sole Hope Grant. ASR is teaming up with Arvada Rotary Broomfield Crossing Rotary and Flatiron Rotary for Sole Hope Grant, Our club's commitment is $1000 Cash and $2200 in DDF - the grant should be in-between 6-7k. We are hoping to cut out 1000 pairs of shoes... 400 are already completed
