World Polio Day

On Tuesday, October 24 Arvada Rotary and Arvada Sunrise Rotary are hosting a breakfast meeting at Indian Tree Golf Club, 7555 Wadsworth Blvd at 7:30 am.  Dr. Marny Eulberg, a Wheat Ridge Rotarian and polio survivor, will be our speaker.  Polio eradication has been a major initiative of Rotary since the 1980s.  There has been a dramatic reduction in wild polio cases since then, but there are still cases occurring.  Both Arvada Club’s Foundations have agreed to each match the first $1,000 in donations from the community.  Attached is a QR Code that can be used to make a donation toward eliminating polio.
